An area we’re particularly excited to be a part of this year is IP showcase (Booth N4824), this unique attraction will provide a unified, industry-wide view into the latest advances in internet protocol (IP) technology designed to add maximum value to the broadcast industry and the individuals and companies who drive it.
Our partner Texas instruments (Booth N3527) will be showcasing our complete End to End Live 4K Video over IP Today demo, featuring Nextera’s Networked Media Interface (NMI) FPGA Core and VIDIO Development Module. This is just around the corner from the IP Showcase and will allow customers to see firsthand the complete workflow of this powerful and available today Video over IP soltution. Altera (Booth SU9410) will be showing our VIDIO Development module on their Arria 10 based development kits.
PESA (Booth SL4224) and Sony (Booth C11001) will also showcase Nextera’s NMI FPGA Core integrated into their Panther 12G router. Through their Fusion I/O card they can transmit or receive NMI IP streams (and future 2110 streams) through the router crosspoint.
Nextera is excited to announce a major update to our NMI Core, FlexCore, a hybrid NMI/2110 IP solution. Our hybrid solution provides a technology bridge, where customers can use select between a 2110 or NMI stream on the fly, all managed by a unified control system.
